Another vote but we are staying open!

10th January 2020
We have been advised that our school site will be needed as a polling
station on Thursday 30th January for the Cramlington Planning
Referendum. As you know, we have had to close our school a number
of times in the past year and we feel it is unfair to children, families and
staff to have to close yet again.
The turnout for this referendum is expected to be low so we have
reached a compromise whereby only the very front of school will be
used. Polling staff will work with Shanklea staff to ensure access to the
wider school is prohibited and to ensure that school can operate as
usual.
