Shanklea Primary School Fundraising Association
Shanklea Primary School Fundraising Association (PTFA) are a group of parents, teachers, support staff and friends who work together to organise community events and fundraising within school.
Our PTFA is committed to far more than simply fundraising, we believe in creating memories for our children for example our ‘Breakfast with Santa' event and also this year the Easter Bunny made an appearance at Shanklea!
The PTFA enables us to provide a closer link between home and school, bringing staff, parents and friends together socially to support the school, working towards a common goal.
Shanklea PTFA has been running very successfully for a number of years and has been an integral part of the school community raising thousands of pounds that has funded educational trips, Year 6 leavers books, outdoor play equipment and much more.
The PTFA generally holds one meeting per term to discuss future events. If you are interested in joining our team but cant commit to regular meetings we would still like to hear from you as we value every suggestion and offer of help, no matter how small.
