Uniform

8th September 2017
We are proud of our uniform which helps to create a purposeful atmosphere and sense of community within school. We therefore expect all students to wear the correct uniform at all times.

Hair colour and style must be appropriate and of an acceptable standard for school. Students should check with their class teacher if in doubt. Extreme hair colours and styles will not be permitted.

For safety reasons, Shanklea students should not wear jewellery or earrings. Plastic stud inserts are permitted if absolutely necessary. Plasters must always be worn over earrings that cannot be removed.

We encourage students to take responsibility for ensuring they come to school dressed in a tidy and neat manner. We also request that no child uses nail varnish and that no make up is worn. Thank you for your support in this important matter.
