Year 6 Stay Safe Workshops

14th June 2019
On Monday 17th June 2019 we shall welcome Dave Burns back into school to talk to all the Year 6 students about ‘Staying Safe on the Streets’. The children will take part in workshops which look at mobile phone safety, stranger danger, social media, the law, the importance of keeping in contact with your parents/guardians, peer pressure and the law.

Dave Burns is a ‘Be Safe’ trainer. ‘Be Safe’ works in partnership with the Home Office to provide workshops in schools and colleges where they can access young people.

Since 2009 Be Safe North East has educated over 50,000 children and young people. We are confident the children will find the workshops helpful and fun and will have lots to tell you about them.
